iKidz - Children's Ministry
Welcome to Impact Church’s iKidz Ministry! We are dedicated to serving children ages birth through 5th grade.
EARLY CHILDHOOD (BIRTH – 5 YEARS OLD)
A loving and nurturing ministry is provided during the Sunday morning services. Your child is special to us and we want his/her first impressions of church to be a positive one as they begin to learn about the love of Jesus.
Young hearts and minds begin to lay their spiritual foundation of Biblical truths through Bible lessons, music, crafts and free play under the guidance of our dedicated teaching team. Our mission is to partner with parents to lead a child to a personal and maturing relationship with Jesus Christ. Our goal is to provide a fun, safe environment where children experience the love of Jesus. Our vision is to transform a new generation of children through Jesus Christ.
We are committed to having a child-targeted ministry that uses songs and Bible lessons taught in ways that will best reach and teach children. We use a curriculum called First Look.
The three principles we teach at this stage are:
ELEMENTARY (KINDERGARTEN-5TH GRADE)
Our elementary strategy is to creatively focus each month around a concept or virtue that relates to our relationship with God and others (Luke 2:52). Those virtues are then illustrated through key Bible stories or passages. We believe every virtue we choose reflects God’s image, the same image that He wants to demonstrate through us, to the world around us. It is very important to understand a critical distinction: our goal is not to simply raise kids who have character, but to encourage kids to have the kind of relationship with God that results in showing His character to the world.
