FAQ
Is there a dress code?
For the volunteers, the dress code is black or khaki pants with a black shirt. Pants must not have any holes or tears in them. If you are a Buddy, we ask that you wear formal attire.
For the Guests, we encourage ladies to wear a gown and men to wear a suit or tux. However, this is your night, so dress as you would like as long as it is appropriate attire!

Can you tell me more about volunteering as a Buddy?
A Buddy is a volunteer responsible for assisting and providing companionship to their assigned Guest throughout the evening, including sitting with them during dinner and engaging in conversation and activities. Buddies are not expected to assist with medical or bathroom needs. Buddies must be at least 16 years old.

Where do parents/caretakers go?
The on-site Respite Room offers parents and adult caretakers an adult-only relaxing and fun environment while remaining close to their loved one. Parents and caretakers can expect comfortable seating, food, non-alcoholic beverages, and entertainment.
